Powering the HipVac is and 1.5 HP Ametek motor. The 6-quart, impact proof polyethylene body can stand up to the wear and tear of industrial use. Adding to the ruggedness of the HipVac are the 1.5" crush-proof industrial hose and lightweight aluminum wand.To keep you air and floors clean, Bissell has added four stages of filtration to the 6 quart HipVac. The four stages used are better able to capture dust and allergens, and keep them from reentering the air. This is especially important when vacuuming indoors.
